Zogelo is intended only for people aged 18 and over. Do not use it if you are under 18.
You are talking to strangers
Zogelo connects you with random people you do not know. You use the service and interact with other users entirely at your own risk. Other users may behave rudely, offensively, dishonestly or illegally despite our rules.
We don’t verify users
We do not verify anyone’s identity, real name, age or gender. These are self-declared at sign-up. Gender filters and names shown in chats rely on what users tell us and may not be accurate.
We don’t record or monitor chats live
Video and audio travel directly between users (peer-to-peer) and are not recorded or stored by Zogelo. Text messages are passed between users and not stored. Because we cannot see chats as they happen, we are not responsible for what other users say, show or do. We rely on reports to take action after the fact.
Other users may record you
Recording is prohibited, but we cannot technically prevent another user from capturing their screen with another device. Do not do or show anything you would not want to be shared.
Your IP address
As with any direct video call, the person you are connected to may be technically able to see your IP address, which can reveal your approximate location.
No guarantees
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with anyone, with a particular gender, or within a particular time, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with your device or network. Zogelo is not a dating, matchmaking, counselling or emergency service.
Offline contact
Any contact you make with other users outside Zogelo, including meeting in person, is entirely your own decision and responsibility.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zogelo Product by Cortesys is not liable for any loss, harm or damage arising from your use of Zogelo or from the conduct of other users. See our Terms of service for details.
