Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Zogelo Product by Cortesys (“Zogelo”, “we”, “us”), [set COMPANY_ADDRESS in .env]. By creating an account or using Zogelo, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. Who can use Zogelo
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You may have only one account, and you may not use Zogelo if we have banned you before. You must give your real gender and date of birth when you sign up, and you can’t change your gender later.
2. Your account
Keep your password secret and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You must confirm your email address before chatting. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
3. How the service works
Zogelo randomly connects users for one-on-one video or text chats. Video and audio are sent directly between users and are not recorded by us. We do not verify users’ identity, age or gender. Please read our Disclaimer.
4. Rules of conduct
You must follow our Community guidelines. In particular, you must not share nudity or sexual content, involve or sexualise minors, harass or threaten anyone, spread hate, spam or scam, impersonate others, record people without consent, or break any law. You must not try to hack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or create accounts automatically.
5. Reports, moderation and bans
We may review reports, suspend or permanently ban accounts, remove access to Premium, and block devices or networks, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you broke these terms or the law, or put others at risk. We may preserve information and share it with law enforcement where the law requires or allows. You can appeal through our contact page.
6. Premium
Premium is an optional one-time pass for a fixed period that lets you filter matches by gender. Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Premium does not renew automatically. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Because gender is self-declared, we can’t guarantee every match, and we don’t guarantee how quickly matches will be found. Refunds follow our Refund policy. If your account is banned for breaking these terms, any remaining Premium time is forfeited without refund.
7. Your content and our brand
You are responsible for what you say and show. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not store your video or audio. The Zogelo name, logo, design and software belong to Zogelo Product by Cortesys, and you may not copy or use them without our written permission.
8. Intermediary status
Zogelo is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We do not start conversations, select who receives them, or change their content. Complaints can be sent to our Grievance Officer (see Contact).
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t promise it will always be available, secure or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zogelo Product by Cortesys is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for the conduct of other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Zogelo Product by Cortesys for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may end or suspend your access as described above. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability, indemnity and governing law) continue after your account ends.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we’ll tell you by email or on the website before they take effect. Continuing to use Zogelo after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [set LEGAL_JURISDICTION_CITY in .env] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
